Admission to BS programs will be based on open merit, as per the notification of the Higher
Education Department, Punjab, and the admission policy of the university.
The university reserves the right to cancel or suspend the admission of any student at any
stage if any false information or fake documents are found to have been provided.
The university administration also reserves the right to disqualify any student from
admission on the basis of misconduct or any disciplinary reason.
Admission will only be granted if the candidate fulfills the prescribed eligibility criteria
for the relevant degree program.
Required Documents at the Time of Admission:
The original certificate or degree along with a verified photocopy must be presented
at the time of admission. The document must show that the student passed the
examination on the date declared, and it must have been issued before the final date
of admission.
A verified copy of the character certificate from the last institution attended.
A verified copy of the domicile certificate.
A verified copy of the national identity card (CNIC) or B-form.
Three recent passport-size photographs with a blue background.
If the student is transferring from any university other than Bahauddin Zakariya
University (BZU), the following conditions must be fulfilled:
The student must submit a Migration Certificate from the previous
university.
The student must also submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the
previous university. Without the NOC,
the admission will be considered provisional.
Final admission will be confirmed only after the NOC is received.
The university reserves the right to cancel the admission if the NOC is not
submitted within the prescribed
period.
If a student's name is not included in the final merit/admission list, they will not be
considered admitted,
even if they have submitted the admission form.
If any academic document is found to be fake, the student’s admission will be canceled, and
legal action may be
taken against them.
Students who have a gap of more than two academic years after passing their previous
examination must submit an
affidavit explaining the reason for the gap.

Separate merit lists will be prepared for science and arts groups.
The merit list will be based solely on marks obtained in the matriculation examination.

Attendance
Attendance Policy
Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to appear in exams.
If attendance falls below 75%, the student will be declared ineligible for examination.
Absence from class must be justified with valid medical or genuine reasons.
Semester Rules
Semester Rules (For Degree Classes)
The semester system is applicable to BS (4-Year) and Associate Degree programs, and students must follow its rules strictly.
Assessments include class attendance, quizzes, presentations, assignments, and exams — all of which count toward final results.
A minimum of 50% marks in each subject and at least 75% attendance are required to pass and sit in final exams.
A CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 is necessary; falling below places the student on one-semester probation, after which dismissal is possible.
Students failing in three or more subjects may be dropped from the program.
Rechecking and improvement exams are allowed once per semester upon payment of the required fee.
